Rockhounder Pillow

Nova Scotia has a unique geological story that draws collectors of rockhounders near and far.  The Rockhounders pillow was inspired by Celia Gavett who was taken a back by the Pink Granite in Cape Breton. Like the many rocks on the beach we designed a pillow using either a traditional cable chart, or instructions to ‘cable jazz’, a type of freestyle knitting for a truly unique piece. Knit and kitted using our  Hand Maiden Mulberry Tussah yarn with smooth mulberry silk and rustic tussah silk and Fleece Artist Front Country merino with a more matte finish to emulate the colours and textures of these rare rocks.
